The paintings and glass objects from the Abyss series aim to break away from the hustle and bustle of the city and return to permanence, silence, and nature. The series focuses on the landscape and the steadiness in its moment, working with silence but also with noise that turns into silence. The the series is based on an exploration of the evolution and transformation of the black colour, with natural linen materials meeting fetishistic latex. The series juxtaposes monochromatic black surface and glass.
