Piece for symphonic orchestra, accordion and drum set (2013).
The title of the piece is a compound of words accordion and concept and their meanings:
Accordion – also called a squeeze box, it is a musical instrument where metal reeds are the sound source, made to vibrate by an air stream produced by bellows movement. It belongs in the aerophone family.
Concept – cf. Latin concipere, conceive, initiate and conceptum, conceived.
Generally: first draft version, suggestion, plan, design, study, sketch, project.
Synonymum: conception, notion.
In philosophy: term, image, idea, rational grasping or approaching a theme.
In logical semantics: meaning of a word, reason for labeling an entity.
Accept – acceptance, resignation.
Accept = consent of an individual to experience a situation, to follow a process or a
state, without any effort to change anything, to protest or to escape.
