Black mirrors are a phenomenon that has its roots in mystical practices. They have served as a tool for stimulating imagery. Today, these magical objects are not tied to a specific tradition, but are connected to many stories and conjectures. In this way, they fulfil their purpose perhaps better than ever before. The basic formal procedure in the Black Mirror series of objects and paintings was the appropriation of the mass of the painting as an imaginary black mirror - the figurative element was mirrored in the paintings with varying degrees of stylization. The entity depicted in the exhibition can be the viewer's guide, reflection, or avatar, which, in an attempt to explain its material grounding, sometimes disappears and reappears in the viewer's imagination. The effect of the black mirror, whose unnatural reflections stimulate the imagination of the observer and supposedly allow one to see even demons, has been illustrated in a loose way here.
