The department store is a tragicomic mosaic of people living in a six-floor high curiosity with a perfectly preserved culture and aesthetics of socialism. The last unreconstructed Prior in Czechia concentrates on the fates of people who are stuck in a time when Prior was at the height of its fame. The heroes have in common are united by a feeling of neglect, frustration and the search for nostalgia. With a humorous perspective, the film depicts the bizarre atmosphere of a forgotten place and the specific social mood of a post-totalitarian society.
