I show a step into the unknown that will lead to self-knowledge, which I fear, but which is nevertheless necessary and inevitable. The jumping Self symbolizes both the fear of the unknown and the determination to face it. The other Self depicts the certainty and stability I want to achieve. Thus I express the progress and growth that risk leads to.
