In her diploma thesis, Annamária Dovalová dealt with the design of a MASA dining table with benches in cooperation with the Maesif company. The resulting design of the MASA dining table with benches is clean in shape, visually cultivated and undoubtedly attractive. Accented functional joint in the axis of the table top allows the placement of sliding elements for placing hot containers, or other imaginative applications, such as flower vases, etc. The steel base of the table, including the optically subtle, but sufficiently strong construction of the suspended prism for foot support, allows the user to suitably ergonomically change their position during a longer sitting and at the same time pleasantly visually dynamizes the table. The author's work must be appreciated for her honest approach and constant interest in the chosen issue, respect for the methodology of design work with an emphasis on the smallest detail and intensive efforts to find a visually and technically optimal and innovative solution. The author successfully fulfilled her defined goals and the dining furniture set designed for her is unique in the context of current production, contains a number of functional and visual innovations, is comprehensively technically solved and is basically ready for series production. Maesif intends to launch it in its product portfolio soon.
