The topic of the publication is the relationship between metaphor and the way materialization of an idea in a work of art. The author analyzes the methods used in selected works by contemporary authors of the art scene in the Czech Republic and around the world: Katharina Gross, Julian Rosefeld, Marcus Huemer, Eberhard Havekost, Richard Deacon, Michal Rataj, Jindřich Zeithaml, Anna Hulačová, Britta Marakatt-Labby and Qiu Zhijie. . This is a selection of important recent exhibition projects in the Rudolfinum Gallery, the Trade Fair Palace, the Gallery of the Capital City of Prague, as well as works exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 2015 or the last Kassel Document 14 in 2017. The publication is intended for creative students. disciplines, but also to curators or teachers who interpret works, the professional public and those interested in the field of art.
