The OVO interior chair with a stool uses a unique 3D veneer shaping technology in its construction, which is patented and exclusively performed only by the German company Reholz GmbH. During its implementation, the most modern production technologies, processes and materials were used, which enabled the creation of an original and unmistakable product. The resulting realized chair is basically inexhaustible by another technology, and this fact in itself makes plagiarism fundamentally difficult and therefore significantly contributes to its copyright protection. Great emphasis was also placed on the user side, ergonomic and functional parameters, elaboration of details and selection of suitable materials ensuring the durability of the product. The OVO armchair has become, to a certain extent, a truly global product not only in its use, but also in its method of production. The veneer is imported from the United States of America, sorted and processed in the Czech Republic and modified in Germany with a unique patented technology. The mold for the production of three-dimensional shells was made in Italy, their subsequent production, including dimensional formatting, is also procured by companies from Italy. Multifunctional steel bases are manufactured by an Italian company, static and rocking variants of the base are supplied by a Czech company. The production cycle closes in the Czech Republic, where the space shell is upholstered, the chair is assembled and distributed on the market. From the very beginning, the OVO armchair was favorably received not only by the professional but also by the general public, as evidenced by a number of positive responses and prestigious awards at international exhibitions, fairs and professional symposia. The chair was exhibited at the international design shows Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, Interzum in Cologne, Designblok in Prague and Mobitex in Brno, where it won first place in the GRAND PRIX MOBITEX 2009 competition in the category of progressive technology and material and a year later in the competition. FURNITURE OF THE YEAR 2010 Extraordinary award of the Association of Czech Furniture Makers and ARCHITEKT magazine. The chair is registered as an industrial design at the Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic and is manufactured of the company Dýhy Večeřa a spol. s r. o. with its registered office in Rousínov.
