In his diploma thesis, Rostislav Zapletal dealt with the design of a sports electric car, using the existing chassis platform developed at the University of Mining - Technical University in Ostrava. For his diploma thesis, Rostislav Zapletal chose one of the most technically demanding product areas that a designer can encounter in his professional career. Despite the not entirely optimal proportions of the given chassis platform, which he was forced to respect in his solution, he created a very successful design of the car, which eliminates these visual shortcomings and gives it a cultivated expression with a sporty character. The author's work must be appreciated for his considerable and lasting interest in the chosen issue, respect for the methodology of design work with an emphasis on the smallest detail and intensive efforts to find a visually and technically optimal solution.
