Diploma thesis Symbiosis originated in cooperation with the company Rival floor and at the same time it was supported by the Innovative Voucher of the Zlín Region. The company I worked with disposes of epoxy resins which are using in the production of industrial floors. I focused on the optical properties of this material and created a whole series of material testing. I was primarily concerned with the texture of industrial materials, structures and matting. The final set in the form of screens, mirror and lamps is a show of only one option. The paper is removed after curing and the resin retains its material properties. Mirror reflection, screen transparency and the luminaire are to demonstrate the optical possibilities of the material and variability usage of paper too. The segment size represents the technical capabilities of the resin in free space. Symbiosis is a design set for a minimalistic interior but its real essence is to work with the material and discover its potential.
