In her diploma thesis, Sabina Stržínková dealt with the design of seating furniture and interior accessories, specifically the design of the Tammi chair, realized in cooperation with the leading Czech manufacturer of wooden furniture, the company Jelínek - furniture production in Valašské Meziříčí. The final design of the collection of solid oak furniture, which consists of a Tammi chair in a variant with and without armrests, as well as a bar stool and a dining table, looks holistic and visually cultivated. The characteristic motif of the whole set is the contrasting colors and the acknowledged construction connections, which form significant details of the whole concept proposed by the author. In the diploma thesis of Sabina Stržínková, it is necessary to appreciate her effort to design a quality shape and construction solution of a mass-produced product, which is one of the most frequent topics in current design practice. The furniture collection designed by her is elegant and certainly visually compatible with the production of the Jelínek company - furniture production, and in the near future it will enrich its production portfolio.
