The work, entitled "Muse", is based on the ideals of classical aesthetics, harmony, dignity and strength, but also female fragility. I associate all this with classical sculpture. But shapes can also have a cold, unattainable, inward-looking effect on us. By using carved transparencies, I have allowed light to pass freely through the sculpture while making it part of the surrounding landscape. In this way, I allow the viewer a glimpse into the inner world of the sculpture. The sculpture here is not a cage, it is an open space, a flow of light and time. Just as the fabric merges in its hands and becomes an infinite part of nature, so the light flows through its body and soul.
