"To My God" is a one-day pilgrimage to a dream chapel that crumbles and disappears in fragments just like its surroundings. The pilgrimage to the chapel is justified by itself. From the fragments a new unique form is created - an icon - a symbol of life.
Representation becomes presentation and presence.
The individual fragments of the perceived surroundings are captured in pieces of mirrors that reflect and symbolically record the places on the way to the chapel through reflection.
The film is an authentic self-documentation with hints of performativity. The icon of the smiley face is an icon of decay and growth, an icon of what emerges at the points of intersection of different layers of reality.
